One of the biggest fears that parents deal with this time of year is that their back-to-school child will once again prove to be nothing more than average. Average in math, average in reading, average in science, average in language. Just hopelessly, utterly, completely average.

So average it can’t be explained away by a medical condition like ADD or ADHD or dyslexia or OCD or emotional disturbance. They don’t have a condition a doctor can cure, a pill can change or that society will comfort them for. Their child has reached their full potential and their full potential is average.

The economic environment we have endured over recent years has left many people in a financial mess—these financial hardships can put a strain on a couple’s relationship when either or both of the partners are feeling the stress. As they say, money isn’t everything, but it is a necessity in life and an aspect that every couple has to deal with regularly.

While mounting financial pressures can seem overwhelming, by working together, couples can effectively manage their money no matter the economic situation they are in.

I still smile when I remember my wedding day preparations, as I’m sure many of you can; there was much emphasis on the honeymoon. Today, at bridal showers and bachelor’s parties, many still endure the cheeky jokes and teasing, which for the most part suggest that the honeymoon experience will be a passionate, rip-roaring success.

So what exactly happens to this unbridled passion a couple of years down the road?
