Even for seasoned road warriors, suitcase packing tends to be a dreaded chore. Is there really a foolproof method for fitting suits, business casual, and casual attire (not to mention shoes, toiletries, and other accessories) into a carry-on bag… without forgetting anything essential?

In most cases, the answer is "yes."

Many business travelers overpack in order to prepare for every eventuality. After all, no one wants to wear yesterday’s wrinkly button-down to a client dinner that cropped up unexpectedly.

With more and more warm days in the forecast, most of us are excited to say goodbye to winter layers for the next six months. But between cold fronts, rainy days, and brisk breezes, it’s still a bit too early to leave the house in only a sundress and sandals.

While you probably can’t wait to wear spring’s colors, fabrics, and styles, you also aren’t eager to freeze (or maybe fry!) in the name of fashion. Since there isn’t a specific day when we "officially" switch from cool to warm temperatures, your best bet is to approach the seasonal transition with an eye toward versatility and comfort.

Creating an evening of romance at home does not have to break the bank. You can start by drawing a bath and filling the tub with scented oils and rose petals. Add a side table and fill it with your favorite bath mates: chocolate truffles or your favorite chocolate delicacies, add candles and your favorite beverage. A champagne toast will add a nice touch for a toast to your love.
