For those divorced parents who are ordered to share some type of visitation arrangement over the summer with their child(ren), there are always disruptions and potential issues that arise—ones that need to be dealt with during the back-and-forth transitions. For those children who spend the entire summer vacation with "the other parent" (because, perhaps, one parent lives on the other side of the country) the child(ren’s) return to the primary parent’s residence can be stressful, confusing, and depressing.

Sexual dissatisfaction is one of the top reasons cited when a person leaves their marriage.  It is also one of this life’s most worthy challenges to take on—not only for the meaning and pleasure it can bring to our marriage, but also for the very real health benefits that a satisfying sex life bestows on our well-being.  I also believe that learning how to satisfy our sex drive and grow our comfort with our erotic selves is a window, which reveals our deepest humanity.

It is no surprise that a massive consumer market designed to offer  a quick fix for our sexual desires has ballooned into a billion dollar industry. 

There is no doubt that a new baby is the most joyous, wonderful and probably most incredible event in a married couple’s life. When your first child comes, his or her arrival redefines you from a couple to a family. It truly bonds you for life in many inexplicable ways that are too big to be apparent right away.

However, even if you thought you were ready for this, and had figured out all the ins and outs, there are always some issues that cannot be anticipated. Besides feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and incompetent—at least in the beginning—it magnifies many issues that may have been problematic
