Giving Your Spouse Some Space

My wife and I have been married almost 11 years and we have two children, ages 8 and 5. She recently told me she wanted a divorce. After pleading with her and meeting with our pastor, she agreed to a two-month separation and will not seek a divorce until at least the end of the two months. What she is asking for is some space to sort out her feelings. I am trying so hard to give it to her since that’s what she wants, but it seems impossible not to go to her and want to hug her, kiss her or just tell her how sorry I am for neglecting her emotions and that I will never do it again. I want to give her space, ask her to come to church with me, seek counseling and profess my feelings for her, but when I show her my love and commitment it only seems to push her away. I don’t want to get to the end of two months and feel like I didn’t do enough. So, I’m asking:
