Men With Stay-At-Home Wives View Working Women Unfavorably
Data gathered from five studies that included 993 married, heterosexual male participants found that guys who were in "traditional" marriages (the man worked while the wife stayed home and did not collect a paycheck—can this term be blown-up yet?) were more likely to deny qualified female employees opportunities for promotions, presumed that organizations with a high number of female employees operated less smoothly, and were less likely to take a job at companies with female board members.

It’s a rare woman who doesn’t enjoy receiving an arrangement of fresh-cut flowers for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day or "just because" a family member, friend or thoughtful spouse is thinking of her. But here’s an idea: though flowers are traditionally a gift that a man would give his wife, flowers can be a great gift for men too. There are many occasions when flowers or simply a live plant in general can be a thoughtful, welcome surprise for a man.

The advantages for sending a floral arrangement to your husband are the same that all women appreciate: they’re beautiful, they instantly cheer up a room, they let the recipient know someone is thinking of them and they bring a smile to someone’s face.

Even though I spend my days writing and teaching about love and sex, I still find it challenging to delve into the topic of male sex toys. I am not alone in this. For many married couples, just introducing the idea of adding a vibrator into a relationship can sometimes be awkward and challenging. For a long time the only sex toys I sold on my Good Clean Love website were for women. I was first introduced to male sex toys in the midst of adult entertainment trade shows where exhibitionism generally wins out over education. People who are already battling the bulge seem to really pack on the pounds when they experience stress. Jason Block, MD, whose Harvard research was published in The American Journal of Epidemiology, implicates stress as a trigger for weight gain. Apparently the stress response is gender specific. Men get stressed over workplace hierarchy, difficulty paying the bills, the inability to learn new skills along with workplace demands.

However, women have broader categories when they experience stress; they are hit hard by strained relationships and feeling limited by life’s circumstances, according to Dr. Block.
